TRF TA07MS
#226

Many parts on this car are special order parts (7digit part numbers). The lower deck is 13404095, if you google that it gives you some European shops that has them in stock.

How about looking for one of the aftermarket conversions like the Exotek RS7? Easier to source than tamiya parts and has a few improvements in battery location options etc.

Hi, really want to get a ta07ms but worried about fragile c hubs etc that everyone talks about. Does anyone know if the trf420 c hubs, knuckles and uprights are same dimensions and transferable to Ta07ms as i read on Kentech write up the trf420 parts seem to be made from stronger plastics?

Get the TRF419 Suspension upgrade set, it has all the new updated suspension parts. Getting spares are still a good idea

looking at both manuals noticed the shaft pins for arms are different sizes so don't know how they are interchangable. ta07ms is 3 x 46 (mb23) and trf420 is 3 x 43(mb9)

you use the pin of the TA07MS the 43mm pin is for the 420.
I got all the new stuff from the 420 on my TA07MS but still dont drove it. I will make photos asap.
Beware if you fit the suspension arms like the regular one the rear one makes the wheelbase 3mm longer.

yes you can! just take care that your old body fits
imo the new suspension parts are better and stronger but give me some time to test it longterm, the disadvantage is that now you break more expensiver parts than a good old c hub... ;(
PS: I needed a single Spacer (think it was 0.3 or 0.5mm) on every axle than before with the trf419 arms.

2 questions:
1.) how high is your belt tension? If I made it the same as my other TRF's the drivetrain moves very hard, if I make it moving like my 419 e.g. the belt tension is much lower compared to my 419...
2.) are there any spring adjuster for the SSBB Damper which are black or red on the market or is any others brand spring adjuster maching?
thanks
