ch indeed, however those little sacrificial plastic part on the end of the carbon arm are great. I've jut rebuilt the car everything else is straight and good to go. It cost me and upper arm, a turnbuckle and a lower pivot. We are talking full speed 3.5t boosted into a wall. I'll take that result any day.

Just bought my first 1/12th scale car. Do these numbers on the bottom of the chassis have any particular significance?

Just makes the front wider and lowers camber gain. It's an essential for me in mod and 13.5 with a spool.

As some have suggested, I've decided to run one side tube instead of two. I'm running 10K in the one tube. Checking tweak with both tubes installed the tweak was perfect. With one, the tweak was way off which I think makes sense given that your removing resistance from one side. When running one tube is it necessary to compensate for the missing tube by increasing spring pressure more than you would with two tubes?

Okay, thanks. I'll see how it is with the tube disconnected.

Default Battery fit.

Hello,
I build my P12 evo, stock setup.
I tried to fit the battery but it is touching the shock spring retainer and the nut under the upper pod plate.
Did anyone have the same problem or I missed something?
Thanks

Make sure that you have the 2mm spacer under the stud on the servo mount.

The single tube worked just fine. Ended up with 30k in it by the end of practice and the handling was outstanding!

For the record, I was able to fit a Hitec HS-5245MG Digital Metal Gear Mighty Mini Servo on my chassis using a combination of the Roche large and standard servo mounts. I like the combination of specs and cost on this servo.

Price: $40!
Transit time: 0.12 sec/deg @ 6V
Torque: 76 oz/in @ 6V
Weight: 32g (1.12 oz)
Length: 32mm (1.3")
Width: 17mm (0.7")
Height: 31mm (1.2")

Hello,
Thank you, but if I put a 2mm spacer under the stud the thread is not long enough to tight the stud
and the battery still not fit under the shock.

If you have the servo and pod built properly, the only other reason I can think of is that you have a battery that is not a standard size. I'm not even using the Aluminum Servo Mount and my battery fits with just a 2mm spacer under the ballstud. Here are the dimensions of a standard size battery that should fit: (L) 93mm x (W) 47mm x (H)18.5mm. Make sure that the battery is sitting properly in the chassis brace (see picture below.) The battery shouldn't be anywhere near "the nut under the upper pod plate."
