Digital Servo Question

Hello,
I have been racing for years and just recently purchased a digital servo. It is the Hi-Tech HS-5625MG servo. I received it yesterday and was going to put it in one of my trucks when I read the warning on the General Informatin sheet. It stated that this servo can not be used with some recievers as it will blow up the circuitry inside the servo. I have a Novak XXL 75mhz FM reciever and an Airtronics Super Micro 75mhz FM Reciever. Will these work? If they do, what recievers can't I use with this servo and what is the reason?
Thanks
Nick

I don't know for sure, but I think it's just a liability clause.... If the receiver is not really old (10 years old or more), I would think it would be OK. I ran mine originally from a standard Futaba receiver (model # 1024) before I switched to a Spektrum and it worked perfectly.....

I'm not certain with the Novak but it will work with the Airtronics.

I'm using the HS-5955TG. I'm not sure if it has the same circuitry as the 5625MG but mine works with different recievers and different frequencies. It also worked with PCM, new and old FM and old AM recievers and I never had a problem using it with other systems. Right now, my HS-5955TG is connected to a Futaba R113iP Micro PCM reciever.

I'm sure your servo's circuits won't blow up with any reciever. Unless the reciever your connecting the servo with is defective with short circuit.
