Default Fantom lathe ???

hey guys

finally got my fantom lathe in the mail yesteday after waiting since they were backordered in november

do i have to set it up, it looks like the bit has already been shimmed and is in place???

do i need to do anything to it, or just slap an arm on there and cut it???

i cut mine out of the box, but i found i needed to shim it up slightly to get a better cut
