New car looks promising. Is it going to come with the lay down shocks or will that be an option? Also what is the estimated price of the kit?

Price will stay the same. $590.00 The laydown shock set up, when we release it, will be optional. At the moment, we are still testing it.

What’s the current go to suspension ball for the mid motor car? I’m currently using the short steel ball on my rear motor genesis’.

I'm sorry, I am not sure which ball you are referring to? Like the one under the hub?

The one under the suspension arm. I think the amx part number I’m using is at21st-a. The ball the p03 snaps onto

Kits will come with the shorter steel balls. However, on asphalt we have been running 1mm under all balls. AT21S is the AMX part number I believe. With the new geometry, I would start with 0.5mm under all short balls or the regular AT21 for carpet.

FWIW, never compare out inner ball height to the AMX. We have completely different outer ball height and it will not translate. For example, our car with 1mm under the AT21s is probably close to an AMX with like 2 or 3mm under the inner ball depending on what is under the outer hub. Our distance to the axle from the outer pivot is a little taller than on a regular TC. This gives a slightly taller RC.

I got some much needed practice in today, after my 2 month break...

The gizmo mid motor car is a BEAST! I showed up and threw it down, was instantly on pace. I fiddle around with springs, and a few other smaller set up changes. Was able to get some very promising lap times, and cut off a few more .1 maybe another .1 or .2 to find tomorrow. I'm very happy with the car, i was actually able to make it rotate too much, which was a first.

The car is super easy to drive, and amazingly consistent. Cant wait to go racing tomorrow!

Im running on high bite black carpet, with the gizmo 20/20 mid motor car, and the optional laydown shock system.

I finally got my hands on a gizmo genesis and I have a few basic set-up questions for black carpet. 1) what is the most natural body to run on this chassis for black carpet 21.5 TC on jaco blue's? What Gear ratio are some of you starting at with 21.5 tc and last what springs are some of you running as I see most of the set-ups for black carpet are soft shock oil and spring packages. Thank you for the info and I can't wait to get this chassis track

For bodies i typically go to a montech Racer. I also like the bitty design M410. The racer i mount slightly forward, the 410 i run all the way forward. I havent had a chance to run any of the latest gen of bodies.

Gear ratio depends drastically on motor, and track size. If i would have to ballpark a number i would say 4.0 fdr. The IR of the car is a 1.9

I run the axon and xray springs. Typically from the 2.2 to 2.5. Hope this helps!

21.5 on carpet I ran 4.0-4.2 on asphalt 3.9

Been reading this thread and really enjoying it. Seems a great car with potential on all tracks! Congrats!

When do you realistically expect to start shipping 2020 kits?

Also, did I hear you were releasing an F1 Car Kit..... maybe it was just me wishfully thinking...?

I’ve been patiently(albeit anxiously) awaiting an f1 kit as well. Some team guys had the f1 cars but, I don’t think they ever got to public
