The standard one, i tried quite a few asymmetrical decks and preferred the standard one. I want to try them again when I have more time to test them.

Hi there
I tested the offset top-deck compared to standard last weekend. The car was a little more loose, but came more alive with better direction changes, and my lap times were 0,1-0,2 better pr lap
Indoor grey carpet 30m x 10m

You bet I can
I am not done testing, but I reached a good point this time. Shaved off 0,4 sec pr lap on the day, and the track is always stable, so it was due to setup changes.
The setup sheet is not 100% up to date with the new car, but I tried my best to fill it correctly.

How do you like the shocks stood up that much? Why do that vs a stiffer spring?

I tested that day and tried to lower all 4 shocks 2 holes, and that was worse, so I put them back. Next time I go to the track, I will lower the rear dampers 2 holes and change the springs to 2,35 or 2,55.
That will be in a week from now, I will let you know what I think after that

So I am putting my car back to base carpet set-up as my testing didn't go as played. So what length should my front and rear links be so the car is dead zero on my set-up station.
Also are the suspension mounts different if you flip the arms a different way?
Thank you for the help, hoping to get this car ready for this weekends race

What do you mean by dead zero?

Your set up station is what is going to tell you what the link lengths should be, by using the gauges, not the other way around.

Depending on which version of the car you have, yes if you flip the arms around you will have different position for the lower shock mount holes. The difference is a 1mm offset. The 2020 does not come with 2 sets of holes, but the 2019 car does.

And it helped
The car is even better now with 2,55 springs in the middle hole on the rear shock-tower.

Had a pretty good test day at our indoor CRC carpet track , tried a few of the new top decks that Cristian sent me. so far in carpet the 2.0 mm was the ticket. the track is fairly new and the traction is still low/medium. So i decided to stay with the carbon chassis. The car was very consistent the whole day.ended up qualifying 5th in 17.5 and finished 3rd.

ran these on the hubs all day yesterday and they were awesome! Even after some hard hits in the main.

Spent the day testing top decks, Christian sent me 4. 2 different weaves with a solid and flex option in each weave. I was finally able to install the long lower arms and lowered shock towers(I used the -2mm towers and mounts). My hot lap dropped 4/10’s(6.464 to 6.052) and my top 25 was 6.202. Car is super consistent with the long arms and e asymmetrical top deck. If you haven’t used the long arms and new top decks you better be getting a hold of Christian. There’s so much more speed to be found.

Does anyone still have a rear motor chassis? If so I have two chassis for sale one is black and the other is sliver. I know one is really stiff and the other one is some what like a ultra flex chassis. Pm me if you are interested.

I was finally able to get to the track and run with a high roll center set up. It seems to be REALLY good.

I recently attended the 2020 King of the Road Race, at MRCR. I showed up on Friday, and ran their club program, as well as their Saturday Regional Race. This brought out many of the Local fast guys regionally that did not go to Snowbirds... The track size is 36x60, and is always a great time to race on, I really love the competition you get a smaller track. With that said, if you run on a larger track, and find the attached set up, has too much rotation. I would move the PCS screw to the furthest back position.

While I did not TQ either day, I did win the Regional Race on Saturday. It was a tough weekend of testing and tuning, to get the RIGHT set up. At the end of the weekend I do believe I had the most consistently fast car. If you guys have any questions about the set up, please feel free to ask. I think that this is the set up I am going to take down with me to the 2020 ROAR Nats, at EA's track.
