The high Rc set up works pretty well. I made a rear diff change and a rear diff change and the car was the fastest itís ever been on black rug. Iíll do some more testing and tinkering with this set up once I put it on my usgt car.

Id be interested to see your set up, as I had tried it in TC and it was NOT good. I used the set up I posted above, but with the higher roll centers.

Well, in all fairness, you did not spend a lot of time on it or try soft enough springs, did you?

On carpet, we may not be able to run above like 1.5mm under the arms unless we get something softer than the Gizmo silver springs, OR run the laydown shock set up.

Anthony, were you running traditional shock set up or laydown? Which springs/oil?

Laydown shocks. 37.5wt 4x1.1(i forgot my 30wt 3 hole shocks at home). 3.0 front spring and 3.5 rear spring.
The car was oversteering like crazy initially. Thatís why I went to a harder diff(10k from 5k) and more rear toe in(3į from 2į).

when I get home tomorrow Iíll post up my set up. Itís currently a bunch a scribbles on a napkin basically

Have you tried the suggested set up from a few pages back yet? I still think you are not damping the car correctly. Along with the stiffer springs, you will need heavier damping.

Iíve been working my way towards that set up. I was looking forward to trying that shock package but, itís on my usgt car. I will rebuild these shocks when I get home and see what itís like. The car is fast. Carries tons of corner speed.

what body is most popular with the genesis? As I read set-up sheets I am seeing all types of bodies. Has anyone tried any of the zoo racing bodies or the new PF body?

Iíve only tried the montech racer 1 and 2. I found the racer 1 more consistent. The r2 would suddenly lose rear traction. The r1 is easy to drive and does everything decently. I have a couple Monte Carlos coming to try

I have run both the zoo hellcat body and the PF Turrismo body. I prefer the hellcat body but be careful not to go more than 6mm forward as it will make the car loose in high speed corners.

So I mainly race 21.5 and Can-am Stock tc with this chassis and I have found that bodies like the Type s, Racer 1& 2 keep the rear end of the car planted to much for my tight track. I have picked up a pf spec 6, M410 and a pf ms7 to try out in the next few days. I have also gone with a mid-level rc 2mm under each arm and a soft shock set-up with 32.5 wt on xray 2.4. 1.4 front sway and 1,2 rear. Lets see how it works. Will post info within the next few days. Once again thank you for all the help everyone

I used the racer on a 36x60 black carpet track with 7.5's as lap times. How you mount the body as well as the wing and trimming the wing SEVERELY changes how the body feels. The trim likes on the racer wing are incorrect even at the smallest size they have marked(according to roar). This is infact the case with every bosy that I have ever owned.

With the bodies listed above if you need help/tips mounting them please let me know. I also did a video of how i mounted several bodies for the Gizmo on my FB page.

Default Xray sway bars?

Am I reading correctly that Xray sway bars fit the Gizmo?
I do not currently have a Gizmo, but I'm considering it.

You should be able to make them work, yes. The fronts will work F/R and the rear should work on the new car as well.
