Make sure to follow the instructions to cut 1mm of the front shocks bottom plastic eyelet. If not the car will feel erratic, too much pre-load spring pressure.

Note that you can still easily install the stock centre brace when using the RCMaker kit just by adding a couple 1mm or so ball stud shims.

I managed to get a few runs in this weekend with the brass RCMaker kit on my asphalt car. I was impressed with how smooth the car felt. I was actually pretty skeptical of the whole premise but was pleasantly surprised when I ran the car. I felt the car was smoother around the track. I felt I could drive the car harder with out upsetting the car. Lap times improved and became more consistent. I'm sold. This was originally slated for my carpet car but it looks like I'll be buying another one for that car.

Be sure you adjust your battery bar mounts to allow for the increase in height. I added 1.25 to my posts to allow the battery to move freely under the battery strap.

Could someone tell me what difference between alu version kit and graphite kit?
I just want to know what each 1 had included with different parts.

Best regards

I believe just the lower chassis, one comes with the aluminum and the other with the carbon. I donít know for sure but I donít think they include a different top deck or anything different than whatís included with the carbon kit.

If you are so sure then i thank you.
Due i never saw this alu version in their official site.
And i have "superstitions" of trying 1.6 and 2.0 upper deck together when i use alu deck.

About another question, do someone used magnesium low deck of Arrowmax ?AM-900005 Yokomo BD9 Chssis Arrowspace Mg Flex
Any review about it?

Fact, Aluminum version has Aluminum lower chassis plate. That is the only difference. Have not and will not be trying Magnesium lower deck. Question for all out there, Has any one tried out the Samix aluminum chassis vs. standard aluminum Yokomo lower chassis. I am thinking of trying one and looking to lower the flex at the rear of chassis near motor mount and feel this chassis plate may be the ticket.

So is this still an issue in new kits?

Got my kit in February, and I had to trim the front eyelet. Total length should be 13mm.

Hey guys,

I have been spinning the idea around about selling my Xray T4 18 AL. and buying the new BD9 AL for black carpet racing. If I buy the kit do you recommend me buy anything additional other than some extra parts just in case I clip a corner to hard?
Thanks for your input.
