A smaller Axon spur gear should about do it.

... although the brass centre weight would also be really nice.

My cars always end up massively under weight so I'll still need it even if ROAR goes to 1320.

I hope it does go to 1320.. Tired of 40-50 grams of weight added lol.

Have you tried to contact Ryan (Tiny) Welch out of BC? Options RC is his place.

What size battery are people using with the car to have to add weight? I am coming from a TC7.2 and with an 8400 mah battery I am over weight by 60 grams

thanks

I use a Orca gen 4 6300 pack. I use to use the bigger 8500's.. had great punch but at the cost of 330g vs 270-280g. Not to mention it's very hard to balance the car, I couldn't get mine perfect. I feel on a big track / out door facility the 8000+ are worth using. On most indoor tracks I feel the better balanced / lighter car almost always wins with the 6000-6400's vs the 8000's

Thanks for the input Iíll look into a smaller pack maybe. To be honest I have never balanced my car and did notice it was off when I look at it the other day. How much does it help to balance them vs the extra you get from the bigger battery on an outdoor track

https://kentech.wordpress.com/2018/1...-double-build/
An interesting comparison from Kentech and for me the build so far feels like a slight upgrade over the Xray. You definitely get more goodies than Xray gives you and the car is arguably the most bad ass cosmetically ever. I don't know if it's going to take down my number 1 racing to win chassis the Destiny RX-10SR. I plan to test the Destiny and Yokomo back to back in TC 17.5.
