Is the new front still competitive against the old one in open class on bumpy conditions?

Fill the kingpin with oil from the top screw hole, then the oil will come out of the holes in the side of the kingpin and it will last longer. I'd say check every 3-4 runs.
One of the major test tracks that Schumacher uses is MB Raceway in Leeds which is quite bumpy and it is the track we used on Sunday for the test day. There is no problem at all running the car on a bumpy track with any motor. Try thicker oil than the base setup on the kingpins and centre shock.

The manual says yes (long pivot option only though).

It is possible to run the short pivot option but only if you are prepared to get your Dremel out.

In my own view the alloy chassis is not necessary as there are plenty of flex adjustments possible with the fixing options for the top deck.

I'm trying to get this kit through my LHS. This chassis appears to address most of my usual gripes although I'm confused about how pod tweak is addressed - there doesn't appear to be any adjustment in the centre pivot ball mount?

There is just enough movement between parts so that if you follow the instructions and tighten the pod ball screw last as it says in the instructions it will be correct. It doesn't need any further adjustment. The Atom, Atom CC and Eclipse are all the same, as were the Corally 12SL/12SLX I used to race a few years ago.

If you can't get hold of one in the USA I'd recommend MB Models in the UK, they will ship internationally.

I'm super pumped about this car. I held off on the Eclipse 1 because I wanted a true Schumacher front end and now they've delivered. My LHS in Canada will get it (eventually).

David,
If you can't get ahold of one, contact Phil @ discountrcstore.com. He's U.S.-based and I'm sure he'd be happy to bring one in for you.

Actually Corally also had a car with a similar rear end back in the mid 90's
