While no OP, I would be looking for set ups for CRC Black Carpet, medium size track.

all I run is on crc black carpet. 45 front springs kit sides. battery transverse. extra weight on the front lower arm. I also use the new derlin upper front arms. ESC - HW stock spec. With this esc you can fine adjust the brakes.

ride height 4.25 front and 6-6.5 rear. caster is like the direction show. And camber for me is 1 1/2 . I have something for caster coming soon to try. If you have a hobby shop that sell Rage parts #RGRC105/3979206664) front hinge pin set. Just use the long ones. They were 5 dollars at my HS..They replace and fit perfectly.

I think he (the OP) would like some editable Setup Sheets, and also some team driver ones as well for reference.

Better yet, what exactly is the track surface, bite level, etc? That would make it easy to help

I would say the kit setup will get you 98% of the way there on the CRC black carpet. Set the ride heights so that it doesn't scrub the carpet (4mm would be a good start) and see what it does. Front camber, I'd suggest -2. A little front toe-out to stabilize it on the straights.

On asphalt, a little less front camber, and a softer rear center spring. That worked for me.

Tires are going to be the biggest factor on how well it handles, IMHO.

There is no set-up sheet. As for what I've said This is from (ride height) CRC and rest is from several of us CRC drivers here in Florida. I know this set-up I posted works on our cars on Black carpet here .

I'll give everyone what I just used to finish second at the USVTA Southern Nationals at Apex Raceway.
.45 springs all around (kit)
white center spring with 25 w in the center
1 degree of camber
1 degree toe out
0 caster (all shims in front)
4.5 mm ride height front and rear
1 mm rear droop
2 mm front droop
battery inline and full back
tires were the gravity premounts as handouts
sidewall glue just below the crown on the fronts
SXT regular full rear, 7/8 front inside out
Xray gear diff with 15k ( many run much stiffer but I like this weight)
I qualified 5th and with luck and mostly clean driving I finished second.
I dont have the skills of John Barron II (Winner and congratulations to him) but I am also 67 years old

Shows that a standard setup works very well with this car

I will add that this car has been out for awhile where other manufacturers have released several models. It is still fast and very tuneable. I am not a spring chicken but I know what changes will do to this car so I don't get surprised when I get on a new layout or surface ( even black carpet varies ) .
ROBK, I want to add a thank you for pulling F1 under the USVTA banner. I believe that is what has helped it start to grow again.
