Is there a list anywhere, curious how many are signed up. Usually this thread has activity.. Seems like the champs is back to the premier carpet race.

The entry list has not been updated for a while. The count was under 200 entries, the last time I checked. I have seen local club races have a bigger turn out.

Moving this race killed it along with rising prices. The hotel being so cheap is a positive and drastically helps with cost. List was updated last week actually and last count was 174 entries. Could have more added by now.

If the number of entries isn't much larger, I would like the program condensed to 1 day of practice, no seeding rounds, 4 rounds of qualifying and multiple mains.

174 entries is not big deal, many guys registered to join more than 2 classes.
Could someone tell me, compared with previous editions if this 1 is really fewer racers?

I counted in Stock and GT class, each has got less than 30 entries.

Completely disagree....Its Vegas and IIC..... Leave it like is, enjoy the atmosphere and more practice.

174 entries not people. But to your point some guys signed up for one class and will sign up for the rest at the race. I imagine it will be over 250 entries total when everyone adds classes. I know Im only signed up for 1 but plan on running 3.

This race and the Snowbirds are 2 I have never done that I always wanted to. The cost and time needed off is a breaker for me it seems every year. Heck, this year, I can't afford any events until after the Hudy, lol.

I have to say I am super stoked for this years IIC. I was lucky enough to attend the inaugural IIC back in 2005 with less than a year into the hobby (I still have my 1st place trophy.....for stock foam TC......F-main!!!). I have taken a break from onroad racing since 2009 and recently got back into it a little less than a year ago, so now I am once again heading back to Vegas to what I know will be a flawless event. Looking forward to it! And like EA said, I bet entries will get over 250 for sure. Gonna be a great race!

I get in late Tuesday night, so I will be at the track first thing on Wednesday!

Just painted a body and am trying to get it up to 90g ..... I have to say 90g is ridiculously high. You either have to run regular weight bodies or use a whole can of paint on a light weight body.

Scotty's race, Scotty's rules. I painted up some PF lightweight bodies and needed to use HD wings and side plates to hit minimum weight.

According to the website
"We will be implementing a 90gram minimum weight of all touring car bodies for the IIC. Thin or Pro Light bodies will NOT be allowed.
All current body manufacturers have bodies that will meet this 90g rule without any special things to do to them to reach this weight almost perfectly." "No special heavy paint or anything like that."

PF only makes light weight or pro lite. I confirmed with Scotty on FB that PF light weight bodies are allowed, but have to meet the 90G rule.

I believe the spirit of the rule is no pro-lite, ultra light weight, or any other super thin bodies in order to have racing effected by body tucks.
