Default NOOB set-up 101

i want to know it all, like what does a hard sway bar on the rear do, a soft one in the rear, what is anit squat, what is pro squat, what do hard springs do, what do soft spring do, what if u run softer springs in the front than in the rear, and vise versa, so on and so fouth, it would be cool if some people could explain EVERYTHING to do with set-up for noobs (like me)

Have a read of the XXX main setup book, it explains what things do in really simple text.

Like these guys are saying you need to read guides and try and learn for yourself. I find the best way is to just ask around at your local track (Which is what I did when I first started and still do now )

I will give you one tip though, softer springs on the rear give you more rear end grip

Good Luck

The responses given to you so far are correct. Get the XXX Main book, go to the Xray website and download their Guide and goto the website listed as "pandora". These are all very good reference materials to start your learning process on setting up a chassis.properly But the most important information will come from your practice and experience from using the these setup guides and experiencing first hand what effect one change can have on your chassis. Good Luck - spend the time at the track practicing with these guides.
