99 percent complete. Rear body post need to be installed. Going to run at first without swaybar. Most of my cars don’t have them. I either tossed by accident or weren’t included, but haven’t found the battery stops. I’ll just tape battery in. Not directed at this kit, but wish there was a better way to package them. Not to have to open 4 or 5 bags for a single step. Still undecided about what motor I’ll use. There’s no class for car in my area.

The battery stops were on one of the plastic sprues. I think it was the suspension arms sprue, bag L.

After a few days my bags start getting mixed together. Unfortunately I don’t have a dedicated work space for builds. Ill look through what I’ve got left during lunch break.
shock has now been flipped to correct position.

These minis are cute but unfortunately there isn’t a class for that in my local track. But who cares…I’m still tempted to get one of these.
If all things equal and running the same motor, will these be comparable to a full size touring car in terms of lap time?

Watch some of the videos from Australia for this class. These are out running 1/10

Since I run F1 a lot, I have quite a few 25.5 motors. Seems it would be just the right speed for the indoor carpet tracks around here without being overly fast. (our track a few years ago ran 21.5T in 4WD minis, and 17.5 fixed timing motors before that)

They run these with 13.5 systems in Australia. I actually considered briefly trying s brushed system. My MRage uses a sport tuned Tamiya brushed motor. I’ve got a couple unused systems that I might try. Probably gonna start with a 21.5 that I had used in USGT

thats right. I’ve seen both referred to on RCmini on Facebook. Oddly after years of never using turns to refer to motors, in 2 years since I first tried racing, it now sounds odd to not use turns to describe them.

We use that Combo because its cheap (Under $150 AUD) and bulletproof. Our old spec systems are ten years old now and still going.

yes. I avoided racing for my first 6 years in the hobby. Every motor I owned was KV rated. It was only when I reluctantly finally gave racing a try that motors being rated in “turns” became part of my RC vocabulary. I’m still new to racing side, only done 20 raceday in 2 years.
