For all of you running Can-Am 1/12 Stock at the Halloween Classic, we will be running fixed gearing. This is the same as the NYGP this past weekend. It'll be 56t pinion and 72t spur.

But here's the awesome part... CRC - Calandra Racing Concepts will be donating the pinions and spurs for each racer!

With a fixed gearing for 1/12th, Iím guessing that guys will be weighing the advantage of running small ďrace sizeĒ tires that have become the vogue these days, vs the potential advantage of running a taller rollout that comes with running larger tires???

Don't forget, everyone running any Can-Am classes at the Halloween Classic will need 3.5mm male bullets on their ESC wires. The motors will have the female connectors permanently attached. You can NOT solder wires to the Can-Am motors.

TQ Wire makes some really nice bullets. We'll have a few sets for sale at the track, but not enough for every racer.

In A3 the draft effect when you and Dayger went nose to tail and ran right up to the back of Cary, every time you would step out to look the two of you would lose ground and when you kept it in line you would gain feet. Had you not got caught in Carey's crash I am sure the three of you would have had a terrific battle until the end of the run.

You should have similar battles all weekend at Halloween Classic!

The Halloween Classic starts in less than one week! We still do not have any class registration info from the following racers. We apologize if any of these are an error. If your name is on this list, please email us at [email protected] with your full name and which classes you are running.

The Can-Am RC Series motors have already shipped from the manufacturers. We did order extras for each class. However, although unlikely, we cannot guarantee we'll have enough motors for late registrations.

We do not have any open seats and already have a wait list for the event.

Again, please email [email protected] if your name is on this list!

The Halloween Classic starts in 5 days! A couple of IMPORTANT reminders...

We will be running Can-Am rental motors in many classes. Racers must have 3.5mm male bullets on their ESC wires. You may NOT solder wires to the Can-Am rental motors.

Most Can-Am classes are fixed gearing or have a minimum FDR. Please plan on having the appropriate gears. CRC - Calandra Racing Concepts will be providing standard spurs and pinions for the Can-Am 1/12 Stock class.

Can-Am motors must be handed in at the end of each day. Any racer who does not turn in their motor at the end of the day will be penalized. Racers will be charged the full retail price of the motor for any damaged, modified, tampered, or non-returned motor.

We will be enforcing the 95gr minimum body weight rule for USGT and WGT-R.

It is our club policy that all batteries must be charged in LiPo sacks.

SXT Racing Products will be providing one bottle of standard traction compound per driver. Only SXT traction compounds may be used.

We look forward to seeing everyone next weekend!

For the Halloween Classic, ESC's will be spot checked throughout the day to make sure ROAR legal firmware is installed.

v4.2 for Hobbywing and v258 for Tekin are the latest ROAR legal firmware updates for those ESC's.

Our understanding is that v272 is not yet ROAR approved.
