*360v2 News Update 9/25/18*
Just over one week away from the first ever MonTech NYGP! Thank you all for your continued support of this race. The 360v2 Crew are honored and thankful for the love and interest for this event shown to us from racers right in our backyard, and from around the world. Here is the current paid and verified entry list: https://www.rcsignup.com/events/disp...es.cfm?ID=6573 269 Entries. There is ONE single entry left, as a racer backed out of Modified 1/12th scale. So, who will take that last single entry?? More News: Tomorrow, Wednesday September 26th, racing is cancelled for track maintenance and layout work that is currently going on, and unfortunately won't be finished in time to race tomorrow. However, 360 WILL be OPEN for our friends to come down and wrench on their equipment, hangout and BS. We then will have open practice on Saturday, and a club race on Sunday of this weekend. This will be run on the NYGP layout, so we can scrub the track in, and everyone coming in next week for NYGP will have a grooved in track the very first time they put their car down. NO wasted time, and NO wasted practice grooving a track in, and running laps that will not be helping you dial your car in at all. Here is this weeks schedule: Wed. 9/26: Pits open, NO racing Sat. 9/29: Open Practice, 9am-9pm Sun. 9/30: Club race. Doors open 8am, racing at Noon For those of you attending NYGP, please pm us or email [email protected] if you have any seating requests for pits. More news coming later today, Thank you! |

Hi Donny,
We're super excited for the race! We are bringing a tire truer. Are you planning to set aside a table or area for tire truing, or is it something we'll be doing in our pit? And if it's dedicated space, will it have a power supply, or should we bring one? I'm not trying to say it should be one way or the other, just wanting to plan appropriately. Thanks! |

We will have a table set aside to true on, but it will not be mandatory to use it, you could true in your pits (preferably in a box or plastic bin). Either way you will need a power supply. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in a week! Donny |
Another Update:
360v2 will be implementing a GEAR rule for 1/12th CanAm Stock. CanAm is not normally going to follow a gear rule but as the promoter of this race, I am implementing this rule and following what we have done at 360 with our Spec Handout 1/12th class last year which was very successful. The FIXED Gear for CanAm STOCK 1/12th will be 72 Spur with 56 Pinion. Two very common gear sizes which all 1/12th racers should already have, but if not, gears will be available at the race. Thanks Donny |

Do you have a discounted rate for the hotel across the street? Thanks
|
It was full about a month ago unless there were some cancelations. There was a code on the flyer info... I understand there is a dance club downstairs that thumps all night. If you get in, ask if you can be far away!
Im not sure what I am looking forward to racing more: full on spec class 12th scale or mod 12 or racing in NY. Weather looks good. I think it all will be great! bb |
Discount code has been full for over a month on the room. But you can stay not that far away pretty reasonable.
