Entries are starting to come in a little quicker this week. We are easily on pace to meet last years attendance record. As usual Stock 1/12th is our biggest class currently with last years surprise favorite F1 a close second. This years surprise class is TC mod, we had a solid D main last year and are already half way there this year.
I've been in contact with all the factory teams and I expect to receive their team driver lists over the next couple weeks. Last year we filled up fast in October and closed registration by the third week. If you planning or thinking about attending the largest carpet race in the country with one of the best hotels and group of racers around, don't snooze.

The electric season kicks off this weekend with the Southern VTA Nationals. We got a bunch more entries in last week, and Sean said there are more that came in via Snail-Mail. Classes are shaping up nicely and F1 and 12th stock are back and forth for the most entries. and the surprise TC Mod class in hanging in for a close 3rd. With the season starting and the nitro and off-road guys winding down I expect to hear back from the manufactures teams next week. If anyone else has seating request or is part of a group that already submitted request make sure you get your entries in. Last year once October came around we hit our seating capacity quickly and only verified entries got in and we had a few left on the waiting list that did not make it in.

An update to those planning to attend the Champs this year. We have heard back from all but 1 of the teams. I have a long list of confirmed entrants and I am still awaiting actual class info from some of them. At this time, best count is that we are down to only about 35 pit spots left. I'll be reaching out to the various team members over the next couple weeks to sort out the classes. At this time all classes are filling up nicely, and I can at least say the 3 smallest classes are NON-Can-Am classes. The surprise class currently would be TC mod as it is almost at record attendance. When I receive class info from the remaining entrants, I'll be able to put together a comprehensive list of class entries. With so few seats left I anticipate we will be closing registration as usual by the end of the month.

Team drivers have been sending in their classes. Since the successful completion of the 360gp the response and inquires have been positive. We are now on the second page of 12th stock entries. F1 is holding it's own as the 2nd biggest class, with TC mod and Can-Am GT back and forth for 3rd. 25 pit spots remain..... DON'T get left out. Halloween CLassic in 10 days, I;m sure it will cause those remaining seat to fill.
