The only pink bits that might work on the 2k18 are the shocks, arm mounts and screws.
True. It's bronze bits out of the box. I have not seen any upgrades in bronze though.

I wouldn't mind a car with bronze screws & bulkheads. But it looks like the NU's purpose is to simply deplete end of life inventory - especially if the 2K18 is using new plastic tooling. With that said, I'm going to continue running my Advance, as I have built up a nice inventory of parts since my first Sakura Zero S, 7 years ago. Not a bad life cyle for an RC platform!

Could someone tell me 3racing cars parts: arms, chub, steering hub and rear upright. Could replace with parts of other brands?

Best regards

Looks like the only new plastic parts are the arms, everything else is the same.
I too will continue running the XI's and Ultimate but will add the 2k18 to my collection, will probably be my 21.5 carpet ride

Hope to see a aluminum chassis for it from 3Racing .. hint hint

Depends on the price. Water jet is pretty limited to doing vertical surfaces, how do you plan on doing the chamfering?

RSD make aluminum chassis for the XI, if the demand is there I'm sure they can make one for the Evo, but I would like to see a 3racing chassis.

they are making the arm mount in both pink and black, but bulkheads and motor mount only in black

Who has this car now? can it compete with the big boys like Awesomatix or X-ray for asphalt racing? Is it as sturdy as X-ray ?
Looking to get a couple of decent cars for asphalt 17.5 and 21.5 racing.
