Has anyone got a good setup for grey carpet TC yet that they would be willing to share?
Last week my car was all over the place but I suspect it was mostly down to bad tyres. I had also switched to 2k diff, way too loose. For tonight I've switched back to the 7k diff but rebuilt it with less oil and the gears/outer case sanded down a bit more. Feels much smoother already.

This thread’s been a bit quiet lately, hope everyone has had some good racing with their Advance EVOs!
I discovered the other day that the FR and RF suspension blocks don’t necessarily line up right (they are one of the few parts without an alignment pin) to solve, simply put a straight edge across each pair of mounts whilst tightening. I now have completely slop free, bind free suspension!

another problem: 2 of the metal down stop shims had come adrift form the chassis. Make sure you key these with some rough sandpaper when you glue them!

Any resolution on the front arm material issue besides running the previous generation arms? As mentioned, arms are cheap, DNFs blow.

My kit is from the 2nd or 3rd batch (got it in December after they had been out of stock for a bit). I've had some pretty big crashes involving the front suspension and so far nothing had broken. Maybe they already tweaked the formula for the plastic?

Hi guys, any idea if this fits the 2k18:
for Sakura FF Ultimate XI XI Sport #SAK-U309/V2/BK, ,(SAK-U309/V2/BK) by 3Racing 7075 Aluminum RR Suspension Mount 2.5 Degree Black

and what's the difference between this and the stock RR block? Thanks!

That's a link to all the compatible RR blocks (also work as FF blocks). Not sure if the older version is a different height or just cosmetically different?

Two things:
Is the kit front c-hubs are aluminum or composite? They look like composite, but they list the aluminum under spares. I see both composite graphite and alu available. I'm assuming composite because the manual calls out the rears specifically as aluminum.

Additionally... where on earth does one find the 5.8mm 10.2mm ball cap/end for the shocks? Are people buying the longer ones and cutting them down?

Stock is composit. I bought and used the aluminum ones on the one I am selling

Any idea where to get this car and parts? RcMart doesn't use HTTPS and I'm not about to create an account on a site without https.

Thanks LzR, that's exactly what I'm thinking. Anyone has them and knows what's the difference?
