Default what is a inexpensive pan car to start out?

Looking for a pan car with a body like a associated pan car. I am not ready to fully jump in but would like one to play with in the drive way on occasion and have on the shelf. lol

Are you looking for 1/10 or 1/12?

Is used an option, or looking to build?

I’ve just recently bought a CRC 1/12 used for under $300. Only have limited drivng time with it. It’s limited as to where I can drive in away from the prepared parking lot surface.

I have same issue with my 1/10 Associated F1 and in LMP body version.

Few years back I bought a Speed Passion Pancar. Not sure if it’s still available. I was curious about them. And it’s used price was hard to pass up. I found out quick that It was limited to were I could drive it.

You get what you pay for. Cheap is cheap. You can save on the electronics and motors. Chassis is not something you want to be cheap on. As you can sell a quality chassis way easier that a cheap piece of junk. Since you were not specific on either 1/12th or 1/10th? Then are parts available locally? what are some of the local drivers racing? Ask them.

I was just looking at this in the for sale section. I really need to stay out of that section for few months, or longer.

I'd definitely go with a CRC

CRC is the clear winner if price is even a slight concern - some would argue it's the winner at any price.
