Default Tamiya XB Desert Gator RTR

Hey guys, I've found something I'm fairly interested in.
This is it http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXLKY7&P=FR

I plan to use it around my neighborhood out in front of my house, jumping curbs riding through the grass and hitting some built ramps. I'm new to R/C. Almost thinking of going RTR at first. I'm thinking a buggie style or mini truck would be good for me starting out to be kind of rough on.

Let me know!

You may get a better response in the Off Road forum.

tree... Before you buy anything, go to your local hobby shop(s) and see what they carry parts for. Things break and you don't want to be waiting weeks to get in a part.

I would suggest that if it's a buggy you want go Associated or Losi, neither can be beat.

you'd be much better off with this. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXJPY5&P=FR

If you intend racing at some point, then maybe the desert Gator isnt the car for you, if you are content with bashing, then it is a VERY strong car aindeed, also efficient to boot.

I'm definately going to look into this Associated RC10B4 SE RTR seems nice.

I'm going to run to the hobby shop around here sometime this week and check out what they carry.

Then I'll be on my way . My birthday isn't until May so I'm a bit anxious. My wife is going to buy me one I think I just gotta find one closer to time I think.
