if he stole the car like that then he got the transponder too. i'd have all the tracks i could think of write that number down and if it checks in then nab the car. just a thought.

Thats a good idea though. Anders....get the personal # from the last club track Joel raced at and post it here. Everyone here will write it down and take it to their local track director. If it turns up we got him. It couldn't hurt to try this.

Yes, you can type the AMB transponder number in on http://www.mylaps.com/search/advancedSearchBox.jsp en see where the car has last raced.

good luck man I hope that the thief or thieves are caught and get what they got coming
Just remember I think it was Adam drake who had his 10th scale nitro truck ( his pride and joy ride)swiped at a expo somewhere while it was on display and some hobby shop owner recognized the truck when the culprit tried to buy some stuff for it and turned in the dungpile who swiped it and Adam got his ride back...
So keep the faith and dont loose hope cuz there are a lot more good people in Rc then bad.

dang! this is a problem, i hope you get your car back! once , wnen i was at my track ,someone took my spare glowplugs! (5 unopened) i was furious. now, i take the toolbox with me to the stands when i race. i am glad they didnt take my crystals.
