Default Non-black tires????

I have gotten access to the oval of my dreams. It's an indoor running track, 200 meter long with banked "corners". The only problem is that the owner doesn't allow me to use black tires for fear of them leaving marks. Does anyone know where I can get tires for my 1/12th RC12 or 1/10th sedan? I recall from somewhere that someone made multicolored tires for 1/10th on road. But who and what about foams for my RC12?

I dont think its ur tires it might be ur traction compund thats leaving the marks on the carpet. Wipe off ur tires b4 the race. that may be wat ur track onner is talking about

It's not that the tires are leaving black marks. It's that I'm not allowed to drive on the track with black tires. Runners are not allowed to run on the track on shoes that have black soles. The handcarts that the staff uses to cart stuff around all have white or yellow tires. It's not a RC track, it's track for running on. If I get white or yellow or red tires I'm allowed to run my car on it, but not until then.

I've heard of people making their own capped tires with silicone...Ask him if that would be acceptable

I think GS Racing used to make colored tires for Touring Cars. I have not seen them in a long time though. I believe they had red, blue, yellow and others. Probably was 5 years ago. Perhaps email them if they have any laying around. www.gsracing.com
