Spool vs. Diff

I run my battery back at this time. I will be trying different placements but have had a lot of success in the rear position.
I haven’t gotten the X-ray diff yet to try but I feel it will give a good balance between a ball diff and spool. I have it on backorder so will hopefully have it soon. You should be able to create a lot of resistance through oil in the diff to keep from lifting an inside tire. You also get the benefit of having similar on power steering with the diff being tighter. A ball diff is very difficult to get the resistance in the diff action. The window of adjustment is very small. Gear diff gives you a very wide range of adjustment without having to carry multiple axles and hubs around. I hope it works like I think it will. It’s a pain swapping between spool and ball diff. Setups are completely different.

Are you changing both the center spring rates/oils along with the front springs and damper tubes to compensate for switching to the spool?
