Do you guys use the tension belt in the rear?, in the ARP chassis, i think is more pressure from belt, and i donīt use, the tension of my belts are correct without it, but is possible the belt skip a litle?.

In other hand, i use the steering post from HB Cyclone, connect to upper and low dep, the steering is good, more smooth, and precise but give a lot of steering in the infield of small tracks.

Greetings, Luis C.

I got the impression that every part is new and highly refined. It's also lipo friendly.
I need a new car and man, this thing really turned my head.

Sweet....I do like the changes in the car and might consider buying one for next season. I just have so much invested in my HB that I might not switch just because of that.

I guess only time will tell. I have to see if the parts will be widely available. If I switch cars I don't want to always have to order over seas like I do now.

I know that you are only a phone call away but it would also help to see the car in more hobby shops. If we race Hobbytown or at Marin and we break it would be nice to know just incase we don't have that part in our stock, we could just go in a buy it. Maybe I need to rephrase that first response

Probably one of the best things about the scythe is that most of the parts that break are easy to come by. This may not be the case with the new car straight away but you can always be smart and buy 2 chassis kits so you have spares for everything off the bat. Once you know what tends to break when you have brain fades you just stock up on that item.

If the new chassis is anywhere near as fast as the current one it will be awesome.

Hey guys, I gotta know is there any alternative to using the scythe spool??? What I wanna know is, is there any other kind or brand of spool from other cars that could fit the scythe???

I'm just so sick of replacing the c-joint blades every after heat... I had a race today and I went replacing the blades 4 times...
I know that my spool could have been toast and need replacement but I dont wish to face this problem anytime in the near future again...

Is there any way or mod that could be done to the original spool that would allow me to run without using the blades on it ???

Thnx in advance...am frustrated with the blades breaking...

TPG, TOP makes an optional steel spool for the ARP (aka Scythe).

You should talk to the Manager at HobbyTown. I bet you could convince her to stock some parts for you. LOL

You should too E.J.
