sand down the edges of the upper deck around the bulkheads, some of them are a little long and tweak the car once installed. I struggled for almost 2 yrs before i finally realised this. Took off a fair bit of material around the screws, and voila the car has transformed

Thanks for all advices, i solve all the problems this weekend, i change the top deck, for a new 2.5 mm, sand the edges and take off a litle material for more flex. Checked all shocks, dismount it and mount, and cut the top bulkheads the third screw, front and rear, the car work very good, now i go to test the 2.5 US chassis, with flex top deck.

Hello Mauricio, i like the ideas of the new car.

Greetings, Luis C.

I want to put in the optional pulleys to bring the ratio down to 1.9 and which company makes this? Is this a Scythe part or does HPI/X-ray fit it also?

The optional pulley/belt sets are TOP parts. 33T/17T is the one you want for 1.94, the part number for the full conversion is PO-SDT111.

I think you may find some on the www.top-racing.jp site as well although they may also be duplicated on MMUK.

What kind of setup are you looking for?

Noticed that teh new revised cars will have the 17t as standard for the center pulley and will have a 33t for carpet and 37t diff pulley for asphalt version.

The Scythe uses HPI Pro4/HotBodies Cyclone suspension parts.

I'm looking for a carpet ruber setup (small tight track). Thinking of trying out a spool but everyone seems to use a one-way.

I was racing at a tight track rubber/carpet/19T last weekend, wasn't happy with the spool (see my spool shimmy thread), ran the diff instead and car was very good. Controversial TQ, and fastest single laps of any rubber car.

Setup basically kit springs, Rayspeed 3x1.2 pistons, #450 oil front, #400 oil rear, no bars, 1.5 front block, 2mm under front blocks, 1mm under rear blocks, ample droop.
