Any one have a starting setup for asphalt using rubber tires and stock motor?

Thanks, I'll look into that. Do you know if it is the chassis that causes that or the toe blocks?

I bought it from EJ and don't recall it being a US spec version....

easiest way to tell (apart from not being able to adjust the wheelbase) is to look at the chassis. If it looks like this:



Then it does not have the adjustable wheel base.

If it looks like this:


it has the adjustable wheel base.

ok a few questions if you can help me out

Does anyone run the 1.94 gear ration is it any better and did it make the rear loose on power all the time?

Does anyone have a starting setup for tarmac

I have the 1,94 and i don't have anny problem with it. Its easyer to get a lower end reatio.

For the ones that have a problem to find dif plates. The TA-04 of tamiya fit also on it.
Also from the other tamiya cars it wil fit.

look on the muchmoore site of the uk.

Default Adjustable wheelbase chassis

I have the adjustable wheelbase chassis and I find it quite hard to turn in on tight bends.Is it wise to shorten the wheelbase and use the front hole to mount the steering links?

Yes make the weel base short and the frond weels more to the back. Than you have more pressure on the frond weels and shoud you have more steer.

Put some toe out on it.
it gives also more steer into the corner.
