http://www.rc50.com/modules.php?name...2008_Snowbirds

Looks like Cyrul was on pole for the B Final, was leading and got punted by Tosserlini, was in a good 3rd position, then it looks like just out of frame Josh collects the inside of the end of the straight and retires.

Ive been told that Cyrul is a permanent fixture for Team T.O.P. and only had the car for 1 weke prior to the race. He was modifying parts on the run, and will be involved in future developments.

I think EJ made the A and 5th position in 27t rubber.
Cyrul won the B 19t Foam
And EJ finished 3rd in A of Outlaw - not sure what this class was
Not sure who the other Tip Top racers were.

Personally i had my first run on the little fella last friday night, a small indoor asphalt track, sub 12s laps for 13.5 BL, my very first run i set a new track record. There is no mod racing at this venue, so im hoping this type of form carries over to outdoors.

EJ and Ertrachter (sp??) both made the A in stock rubber and Outlaw touring. I think EJ finished 3rd in outlaw touring but not 100% sure.

Cyrul bumped to the A in 19 turn foam. I can't remember how he did in the A though. The commentating was pretty poor. They would only mention the top 3 and occasionally 4th.

I wouldn't mind getting a set-up from either EJ or Ertrachter later. I'm sitting here building my new rubber car as I type this.

Of course a foam set-up from Josh would be awesome but I doubt I could drive it.

Also, when you guys build your shocks... what do you do with the plastic spacer insert???

Does anyone use it or just cut the ears off and use the center as a shaft guide?

Cheers,

Robbie

don't be afraid to wheel a Cyrul set up. It might have a ton of steering but from what I found out from some of the big shots set up's are that they are dialed when you're strapped a little. Driving them the way some of us regular joe's do makes the car seem twitchy. I myself am still trying to figure out this method.....LOL Pull thr trigger and hold on. You must have throtle control though should you come up quickly on a slower car. Congrats to my boys E.J. and Ertrachter.

Any dealers in the U.S.?

RcKenon lists the Scythe, but they have nothing.

I emailed Top USA but just like every other company, no response.

Any other places I can look?

Thanks guys
Chris

Hello Everyone,

I finished 5th in stock and 3rd in 19 turn. Stock I had no motor, but in 19 turn we ran brushless where speed was more equal and it showed the potential of the car.

I want to congratulate Jason Ertrachter for also making the main in both 19 turn (outlaw) and stock rubber. I think Jason had a chance of winning in both classes!

Jason and I ran similar setups, HPI Gold springs up front and HPI Silver in the rear. I'll put a setup sheet together and post it, the car was dialed. Not sure what Kenny's setup was, I think it was pretty close to ours. His car was pretty good too.

I'm putting together a press release for Josh, should have it up here in a couple days.

HVAC25000, I replied to your email. Sorry for the delay.
