Nice....

Post a setup sometime... would be interesting to see what you used on the carpet.

Welcome to the team Kenny!

Great to hear your car is working well.

It will be interesting to see how different our setups are at the end of the day.

EJ,
For it's first time out, the car ran pretty good last weekend and should only get better.
Give me a call at home!

hey EJ, my car is still pretty much set up with the one you sent me with a few minor tweaks... dont to 2.5 toe, and different sways. i still need to round up the HPI springs and get an idea for the feel.

last weekend, with maybe 10 laps practice, i basically ran as quick as i had been running with a car i have had for months... looking forward to getting some more time on it, and see what happens.

Thats something I haven't even considered yet, that inner hole on the front... I have run the outer on the rear when the grip was good. I run the kit 2hole pistons (small holes) with 25wt oil all round. Most of the time I use kit springs and tune with swaybars, camber intake, and roll axis.

Hey,

Have any of you guys that run Carpet experimented with the Carbon Graphite arms???... do they make an improvement for carpet, or do the high traction arms suffice???...

Or am i just talking rubbish and they do jack-all??? lol

Just something i was tossing around in my head, having lots left over from my stint in a Cyclone, just thought perhaps it had been tried and tested.

Cheers,

Robbie

I've been running the carbon arms for almost a year now but I honestly can't remember if it made much of a difference. At the time, I couldn't get the high traction arms where I am so had to use the CG arms.
Now that I run foam, I don't think I'll be going back to the high traction arms any time soon.

Good luck to the top drivers!

EJ, show Kenny some tricks but make him wrench your car for it......

He showed up at our track with a freakin' mini and a wacked out brushless 1/12th scale. 6 months later he's pushing ME 2 laps up by setting my gear straight. And make him build a couple motors while your at it.

Better to go Ti if you can find the right length... Alloy bends far to easily for mod. So I guess you got one?
