Should be very soon but in the mean time, send them an email. I emailed them this evening and received a reply in about 15 minutes.

Thought I would share a very pleasing result for me with the Scythe from the weekend.

I managed to qualify 10th and finish 9th in the 19T A-final at the British Indoor Winter Series yesterday.

Car was essentially kit with plastic bulkheads, only options being Rayspeed pistons and the new steel front spool.

I can draw up a full setup if people are interested.

As some of you may remember the Scythe won the 27T class last year with Jimmy Maddison at the controls. I wouldn't claim to have Jimmy's skills, but it shows that the car is performing well against the competition.

I'm running the 2 x largest hole pistons that came in the kit all round. 40 weight oil in front and 50 weight in rear. Also run 1 rate heavier spring in rear. Currently running a spool, although I have used a 1-way with the same setup.

Good going Sosidge !!!
I did some testing yesterday with the steel spool and it feels much better than the Team Bomber one i was using.
Was also getting my setup going for rubber tyres with 27t stock and it felt real good.
What are your guys suggestions on a setup for a brushless 4.5R on faoms running on asphalt ??
Ran the brushless with a oneway and it was a handfull so will be changing to a spool for brushless mod also.

The spool really transformed the car.

This meeting was actually the first time I had used one with it.

I had been running a diff (VTEC 27R control tyres) but I just wasn't getting out of the corners. Threw the spool in and the car was flying, I could use so much throttle mid and exit! Kicked myself for not trying the spool earlier.

I would never recomend running a diff for that very reason. Even in stock you can feel that difference.

Anyone running 5 cell with their scythe? I have been using 25wt integy oil with 3 hole pistons and car feels good. Tryin 2 hole small next meet. This is with kit springs.

The one chance I've had to ran my Scythe with foams (using the 3.5mm chassis/19t) I improved significantly over my best with the T2 I had. The car had lots of steering which is something the T2 always lacked no matter what I tried. I only had limited tuning time before tearing teeth off the front belt but it certainly has potential.

Where can the 3.5mm chassis be brought?

The 3.5mm US spec chassis should be available through your local distributor/dealer.

TOP have also just released a "carpet flex" chassis kit, it comes with a thick chassis, top deck with outriggers, and new design alloy bulkheads that allow you to remove the diffs without removing the top deck.

I believe this one is "state-of-the-art" from TOP for foam carpet racing.
