Phil,

There'll be about 6 or 7 Scythe's running on one of the world's largest TC tracks in June! Is an 80m straight off a banked corner fast enough for you

Cheers,

Dan

p.s. (Check out www.sdrcc.co.uk for details)

Hey guys, I'm looking at changing my car.

I've got a Cycloen at the moment, and with the 2.0mm 3Racing chassis, the thing is very flexible. I'm running on a really low grip dusty concrete surface, CS22's with warmers, etc, so having some chassis flex for me is a good thing.

The Scythe looks like a good choice, but I've got a few Q's.

I've only got LiPo, Orion 4800 to be precise. Will it fit in the chassis?

Also, do Pro 4 driveshafts fit to replace the Yoke ones?

Academy gaz,

I think the Li-Po 4800 will not fit in the chassis, because the Alu Motor Pod RH is too low. The Orion Li-Po 3200 with "carbon" box fits perfectlly in the chassis.

The Pro4 or Cyclone shafts works very well in the HPI hubs of course.

Hi everybody, i write you from spain.

i have just ran my first race whit my new scythe in mod, and i have a problem... the car seems to be very fragile. It has no aluminium upgrades so my question is if i need to buy all the aluminium parts to make the car run with confidence not broken parts. how do you run your cars?

Thank you for your help.

If you mean suspension parts, the Scythe uses HPI Pro 4 suspension components and there's several aftermarket companies that make aluminum components for them.

try this link: http://www.precisionrc.com/nv/car/pr...540&cat_id=377

I've been running the front and rear plastic bulkheads outdoors on asphalt without any problem, even when running a high power brushless system. However, I would reccomend getting the aluminium centre pod and outer brace (these two come plastic in the kit) as they really help drivetrain efficiency. This is how I run my car outdoors. If you are crashing and breaking them, then maybe the aluminium front and rear bulkheads are worth a look
