Matt's car looked and ran awesome... If I remember right I think his fast lap was about .5 seconds faster than anyone else in a pretty competitive class. Even though I think Matt could drive a brick around and beat me he is very willing to help anyone. Great pickup for TOP and congrats Matt on your wins this weekend!

Ran mine yesterday at Carpetwars and nearly made the A for the 1st time. Was 10th after rd2 but had traffic issues in the last round and finished 15th in the end.

Had my normal luck in the finals always end up last after the first lap LOL.

Anyway, the car is awesome at the moment (standard plastic), very easy to drive. Now wondering if it will be worth spending the extra for all the alloy.

Also Team Almighty cells and motors rock, thanks Jimmy and Steve.

There are now at least five of these cars flying around Aldershot at the moment, all getting good results.

Hello all..
I just got my RED Scythe as well and have been putting it through its paces. Haven't raced it yet, but i've have done some testing and quickly gotten it up to speed with the best here. I can't wait until the big events come around because the car is definitely full of potential. We will be developing new parts and it WILL be the ultimate touring car!

Here's my setup from lastweekend. I was using the 2.5mm chassis and the control tires were the CS27's

You were using Yokomo pistons? Did you have any trouble fitting the stock bladder on the shocks. I found they might be a little too big and when you try screw the cap down, it moves the bladder and sloshes the oil around..

I made a couple of points about the supplied bladders in my building tips post way back towards the start of the thread.

Basically I found that they are very soft so need to be well seated on the top of the shock before fitting the cap. Otherwise they just distort and you end up with a hydrolocked shock.

The kit pistons are Yokomo parts anyway.
