Nice looking TC guys. I have one question about the Motor Coolers I have seen on some of your cars. Are those put on after you run or do you run those when on the track? They look HUGE and Heavy!

Just curious because I don't race TC.

The motor coolers chill the motors before a race or in between heats..
They're not actually run IN the car during a race!

Actually - they run of an external 12V PSU... cold enough to have ice forming all over the motor and the peltier unit.

Ran the car yesterday for the first time on carpet and was very impressed, managed to get up a final which always helps!

Ran it as kit and had to put 90grams on to get to the weight limit! May have to think about 5 cell mod this year.

If this change is supposedly for a 2007 model, I'm sure it will be released soon, and I'm also sure we will see many interesting things on the car at the TITC coming up in a month and a bits time.
blah, blah, blah

It would have been rubbish at the endurance race!

greetz,

Eric

So I ran the car on the weekend on foams ashphalt at our Summer nationals warm up, car handled beautifully, I set TQ and the faster lap of the day in Stock

Here is my set up

2.5 US SPec chassis
FRONT
-Tamyia Shocks 3 hole 45 weight oil (used tamiya shocks so I could take advantage of longer xray springs
- Xray purple Springs 30 LB
-Shock postion standard
-2mm on uppper link longest link,
-1mm below blocks
-NO front arm sweep 0 degree bblock
-3mm in front of arms and 3mm behind arms
-No sway bars
-5mm ride height 2mm droop
-Akerman block all the way back
REAR
-Tamiya shocks 3 hole 45 weight
-Dark blue xray springs 25 LB
-Shock position one lower then standard
-.5mm on upper link longest link,
-1.5mm below blocks
-3 degree rear toe.
-2.5mm in front of arm
-2mm in front of rear hub
-5mm ride height 2mm droop

All alloy bits used.
mazda 6 body
40 rear foams all around
D/R 70 %

This set up is very agressive but holds so much corner speed.

Hope I get a good result this weekend at the actually event

Enjoy
Damien
