Yokomo shocks? Yokomo do the parts. I think the BD-5 comes with nicer bladders and pistons than the older kits.

I think Tamiya pistons fit, but the bladders are too big.

cheers, so I can use BD-5 parts, that make life easier!!

Have you tried the scyton yet? I've been look more closely at the rear links- trying to decide if its worth putting split alloy upper bulkheads on, then using the forward hole on the bulkhead and outer hole on the hub- also consider just using the outer hole then playing with the arm angle to tune the roll.

ta

Had my first run with the "Scyton" last night.

Solid debut.

The car has significantly more rear grip with the Photon suspension on it. No problems with reliability or durability.

I posted a carpet setup a few pages ago.

You won't be far off with the kit setup though for rubber tyres. Basically start with 0.5mm under each suspension mount with kit springs.

Questions?? No TOP support!!

I'm wondering...where can you find parts, for the Scythe?? Everything seems to be devoted to the Photon, now days. Now..the Photon's a good chassis, but I happen to like, my Scythe ARP...and would like to keep it maintained! Who carries parts, with the best price, and selection??

Looks like we're on our own. I have a scythe with only 2 nights racing from 4 or 5 years ago and was thinking of racing it now but it may be a tough one to run without parts availability.
