the car comes with 3deg rear toe in and 2.5deg front toe out,

we have played around with this alot but keep on finding that this is very close to perfect out of the box,

if you are running the spool we have reduced the front toe out to 1.5deg,

we have found that the alloy yokomo spool fits in the car as well,

Thanks Rod for the answer.
For my BD ive bought the 2, 2.5 and 3deg rear toe blocks for setup this car.
I thought ive to do this for the scythe too.

I only use the front one way. Ive never run a spool. So the front toe out will be perfect.

This week i will see the car live and in action on our international friendship race.

My teammate will drive it and im excited how the car goes in comparsion with my BD.

Hi Guyz,

I'am from the Netherlands and just had my first test race with the scythe.
Unfortunately i had no time for training as the race was in Germany ( 2 hour drive ). On the race day just put my car on the track for the qualifications ( 3 x 7 min ). It is a 27 T stock race on the perfect indoor track from Viol.

After just 3 accus i reached the same qualification time as i did got with the Xray T2 2 weeks ago (a car i run for a year now). And in one of the 2 finals i drove even 1 sec faster .

The car was really dialed in , as it was very stable to drive. My lap times where very stable. I'am really impressed with this car

Now i need some training to find 4 tenths of a secondth per lap to get closer too the local top drivers overthere.

I used this setup : Setup scythe viol

Here some photo's :

I look forward to my next trainings session with this car

Cheers
Patrick

Where could I get some setups for the Scythe with foam tyres on asphalt/tar track.
General roll out/gearing for 27T and 19T would help as well.
Gives me an idea of pinion and spur gears to get ,also what gear pitch is preffered ,48 pitch or 64 pitch.

Razzor,

I taking the scythe out this weekend on foam/asphalt, I will let you know.

I tried it once before but found in it's orginal chassis configuration it did not work too well, too much flex, which is great for rubber ashphalt.

This weekend i trying all the alloy bits plus the 2.5m Us spec chassis. It stiffens the whole car up.

I'll let you know how I go.

Cheers
