Awesome. Thanks. Sounds like it will fit. Any idea where I can get the Hybrid Front Spool along with some of the 33 tooth pulleys?

Your local hobby shop can order them from TOP Racing USA, or you can contact us at [email protected]

Thanks EJ

I guessed that I would need to run the lipo like that...
Mine (Demon racing) will overhang the chassis a little but cant see this being a huge problem.

It didnt come with a hold down plate so I guess ill have to tape it in.. probably put some locators in the battery slots to stop it sliding side to side.

I will check out this spool and white pulley of yours .. does it come as a kit with the balls?

Pip

PS I notice on your vegas set up you are using much heavier oil up front .. Is it fundementaly a little rear endy?

We can put a kit together for you. Email us at [email protected]

In Vegas weight of the car was transfering to the front too fast. I just kept going up in oil in the front and down in the rear until it felt right.

We ran full rebound at Reedy because this is what I ran during practice and didn't have time to test. My car felt good so I left it. Kevin Jelich only made it to one day of practice and I put the same exact setup on his car and he liked it as well. If you play around with this and find something that works better let us know.

hihi, i'm from malaysia, just bought a TOP Scythe for drifting hehehe...

i find that this car angle really good and smooth, i can hold drifting and still can adjust angle at the same time with smooth and no under or over, love it man.

ok now i got some noob question that i'm a bit lazy to click every page in this thread hehehe...

what's the different of TOP Scythe, ARP and CRP?

ARP (rubber tyre) and CFP (foam tyre) are simply developed versions of the original Scythe, using some updated parts to create a better racer out of the box.

If you're just using the car for drifting, it doesnt matter which version you use... but if you wish to race, the ARP would suit you better coz in Malaysia there is only rubber asphalt racing available...

chassis thickness, types of differential given( if im not mistaken spool for ARP & front one-way for CFP) and maybe the upper deck design like you said...

CFP comes with a front differential, not a one-way.

Josh, I have seen the new TOP ad the website of Redrc.

http://www.redrc.net/2008/12/thunder...ns-josh-cyrul/

Spurgear behind the motor and 2 white belds instead of black.
Is white faster than black

I,m puting my car in Solidworks. The suspension parts and the drive train. I'm designing my own bulkheads and all the carbon parts. Do you have some tips for me?
