Maybe show up, rent a ride at the track?
You a quick guy? Not sure who you are by the avatar.
If you're a sane driver, heck, you can throw mine around if you like.
Left handed radio tho.
Y'all just get yer asses there!
BTW it's 2nd round but 1st round was a shake n bake day 100+ temps so really didn't hold it against anyone.
Maybe this is a rescheduled 1st round? May have heard something like that?
Might still be a 2nd/2nd round in the near future?

Wishful thinking I'd guess, we're running out of time. A last chance qualifying run at TQ could be nice for some guys.

Unless when the known name guys do get there and they haven't qualified, somehow we can just know they can drive the wheels off an F1 car?
I know some that want to run UF1 but won't be at the qualifier day.
Just throwin that out there

There are definitely some guys that will be "known" as good drivers. I've been talking with Tony about some options. I think this season is more about getting it going. Next season will hopefully see some cool changes to make each it's own, fun, and competitive...

Yes, if you don't show up for either of the F1 qualifiers, it certainly presents an issue if you want to run that class. We've got some options available but I'd really like to hash it out with Ken to make sure whatever option we go with is fair to those that did show up to qualify.

We'll try and come up with something by the end of the weekend and let you guys know what's going on ASAP. I'm also open to other ideas as long as they are somewhat reasonable.

Getting excited to get this going again! Hope you guys are pumped as well! Should be a lot of fun!

1 hour last chance qualifier during the practice time that is right before the race day begins. Run open practice at the same time and keep the timing running. Sean should be able to figure out who has qualified.
Or make a 1/2 hour window only for qualifying if it's too congested or confusing to keep score. Might be fun to watch!

Hey everyone-

Here is the schedule for tomorrow's UF1 free practice day (F1s only) and Formula 1 class qualifying:

Gates open at 8am
Track opens at 9am
First 20-minute F1 qualifying from 10am-10:20am
Second 20-minute F1 qualifying from 11am-11:20am
Third 20-minute F1 qualifying from 12:00-12:20pm
Fourth 20-minute F1 qualifying from 1pm-1:20pm
Fifth 20-minute F1 qualifying from 2pm-2:20pm
Sixth and final 20-minute F1 qualifying from 3pm-3:20pm

Track will be open until 4:00pm

If you are not qualifying for the F1 class you can still run laps but, preferably, after the 20-minute qualifier.

We will have the target laptime to hit available at the track, so bring your F1 skills!!!

Now all we need is a little indoor rain to keep all the teams up front.....

I'd like to thank all the drivers today for showing some patience while the track came in. Times eventually got into the mid-high 11s in practice. Quite an improvement from the early runs.

Round 1:
Fast 3 laps was 37.7 by Carlos Duarte.
Fast single lap was 12.3 by Carlos Duarte.

Round 2:
Fast 3 laps was 36.9 by Craig "Cuda" Hammon.
Fast single lap was 12.2 by Craig "Cuda" Hammon.

Round 3:
Fast 3 laps was 36.5 Mike Rydwell.
Fast single lap was 12.0 by Mike Rydwell.

Fast single lap Overall (including practice) was 11.2 by Mike Rydwell.

And congratulations to the newest F1 class drivers that met the minimum time today:
Alex M
Chad Rott
Doug Rebal
Rajan Monteiro

Looking forward to the season opener!

Nah, F103 rubber tires are hurting compared to todays F104 tires It's still a 90% tire handling game for F1. You are thinking of foam tires haha.

If I'm not mistaken, Our buddy Brett R had his 200mm car strapped on carpet a couple years ago on Pit Shims rubber claiming they were comparable to 571/572??
Love F1 on fatties!
But yeah, 103 on foams is lights out.
