I would pick up a Trinity Monster Horsepower stock motor great for bashing and better for racing, very fast if geared right.

What gearing for a TC3( I know nothing about gearing, just have my stock TC3 gearing at the mo). I also want to try a bit of drifting, would it be ok for that. want a low maintenance motor, Dont fancy changing brushes every 2 seconds, and I cant/dont have the stuff to skim. was looking at the team br00d ones but i'm guessing they would be high maintenance. (im in UK)

They are on sale for 32.95 plus a $15.00 flat shipping fee for International orders up to 199.99. Orders $200.00 and above are Free shipping.

Buy 2 Motors and its still just 15.00 in shipping.

Currently working in a UK Distributor but couple things to still iron out so might be a little while.

if you figure out your overall gear ratio and gear the motor right, any motor will do

Orion Element V2 19T, faster than monster stock motor, very low maintenance, gear at 6.0, you can go 30 runs without change brush/cuts comm, etc. But you will need a very hot soldering iron.

They sure do. You might want to try the P2k2 as well. It has more torque then a monster which would be good for drifting.
