Longer- so, now it's too long.
Comes with IFS - it's still too long.
Comes with a set of wheels and tires - remember, the too long thing.
Has a proprietary body that is pre painted. - keep it. It's way too long.
Arm stiffeners - Mike R. made arm stiffeners, that doesn't make it shorter
and tougher front wing. - Hey, that I can use on my old car that is short enough and strong enough to still have a scale appearance.

I liked the original, I like all the rapid hop ups that came out for it. 3Racing dragged their feet for 6 years and now they want to sell a bulked up version of something that was overweight? They will not sell many of these if it ever hits the market.

So, nobody has heard of seen anything useful then? Dang. I really like the original...never had a chance to race it though as the track that raced them stopped got the car done. I did run it a bit in the parking lot and it was NICE! Tires and wheels aren't any issue if you look for them....they're readily available.

Iím interested but not sure if Iíll actually buy. Iíve talked to a owner of the earlier model. The few times he tried to race it the track banned the car for their F1. So Iíd expect that to still be a issue

What does interest me in that he was able to use if on unprepared surfaces. The one thing I canít do with my current F1. Few concrete spots, and occasionally I can get a run on public tennis court. But it not like any of my Touring cars. I went over 30 weeks last winter with my F1 just sitting around. While practicing on unprepared surfaces might not be the choice of the majority, itís really helped me with touring cars.

I bought this FGX from another racer(howardcano), and I have no clue what front arms came with the car...He might be able to answer that question if you Pm him....All I know is that it works great, and reduces weight in addition to the lrp super shorty(2600mah) pack....

I have to ask what kind of run time are you getting with the super shorty? I recently got some of the ones hobbyking sells to play around with weight distribution on my drift cars so far i am liking them very much

The runtime was good for more than 6minutes, but I never tried to push it past that... My F1 car only used 1500mah on average, but that was before all the upgrades when it weighed around 1100grams with the original thick gears...I was also overgeared a bit with around 2.8fdr instead of the recommended 3.2+fdr for that fantom fr1 v2 25.5t: others have gone up to 3.53fdr with that motor in other direct drive F1 cars.... I guess I was pushing the battery hard, and it had no issues at all...I also ran a protek 6100mah(219grams) back to back to compare with the super shorty(139grams), but it just made the car too heavy, slowing down acceleration and traction rolling in corners: the lower voltage drop could not compensate for the weight difference....
