on asphalt you should use double pink rear and blue front.

double pink give really good grip and make car easy to drive. Also very durable! It will be use at ETS next year.

Ride GR are the best F1 tire from Ride and are competitive. Shimizu however are better/best.

I am running the Ride GR's, ...mostly because the Smimizu's are always out of stock everywhere and I had a bear of a time mounting the last set I used ...I find F1 wheels/tires more difficult to mount than TC weels/tires..

On black carpet, no contest-Shimizu/CRC/TCS (all the same tire just rebranded) . 571/572 Shimizu are at least a few tenths faster. More importantly they last forever and are consistent, delivering composed handling on black carpet. Rides always feel edgy on black carpet, not confident and slower.

I havent tried all the volante tires but the yellow and pink dot rears did't go so well for me outdoors. The pinks were ok on a heavily prepped track on sunny days but never competative with outers. The blue dot fronts didnt steer at all with raceable rears installed and the greens would scrub in and push out.

On warm days ride gr tires work well an easy to drive balance. The ride rears tend to lack forward bite in cooler temps compared to shimizu tires. Although the ride fronts are easy to drive, super consitant and last forever they are rarely the fastest option. The short life tamiya fronts tend to be the fastest outdoors when at the right wear level for the track.

Rush makes F1 rubber tires??? I know they just released their wide F1 foams on Mar 5th. But those would not be legal in the US.

Want to run some new tyres here. Running on medium grip ashphalt, no track sauce or anything.
Ride GR are the best choice I know, Volantes less consistent and a bit slower after a fee packs.
What about the Shimizu? 571/572 are labeled as carpet tyres?
