Default All about Brushes?

Hi,

what are the differences between laydown brushes, standup brushed, v2 brushes and P-94 Brushes?

do certain motors only take certain brushes? i.e stock motors only take laydown?

cheers

stock-laydown (most popular are 767, 4499, or "f")
mod- standup/laydown/p94(it all depends on the motor)
19t-same as mod

P94 are slighly larger brushes. Laydown have a longer face horizontally, standup are longer vertically, although their faces are both the same size.

Good topic....I'm dialed in on what brushes are what and their functions and cuts and whatever.....But I've been out of the loop for a little while and havn't made the connection of the "F" brush. I know what it is, but what is the other name for it? Is it another name for the 4499? or 767? or is it it's own brush?

Its a brush made by "Finish Line" called the F Brush. Popular in the stock class It has a little F engraved on the brush where the shunt connects to it.

I know that, but what are it's characteristics compared to? What Reedy or Trinity brush is closest to the F brush?
