Stock TC CanAm - motor question
We are trying to utilize CanAm this year at our local track for several classes.
One of our local racers reached out to purchase a CanAm motor from Team Powers.
They were directed to the TeamPowersUSA.net site and if not available to contact NorCal.
On both sites they are showing ~80.00 for motor (from reading it was my understanding that they are to be ~$50 for CanAm and be sold with the 3.5mm.
Perhaps I am incorrect in my understanding? Can anyone shed some light on this?

So all Team Scream motors are on back order? bummer. I would like to try one before I head to a bigger race.

Wow this team powers motor could not get any more cheap. Did they really have to pick the absolutely cheapest one they could find on Alibaba and then drop a sticker on it? I mean at least that Team Scream Motor looks/runs just like their race line with a different print on the can for teching and identification.
This Team Powers motor is laughable. I cannot believe that I payed $40 used for a motor that doesnt have any design traits or even COOLING HOLES? Come on. Just because this is a spec class doesnt mean that we should be using cheap tech designed 8 years ago.
