watch out "J", I just beat you last club race.....and BTW, yep won my share of races incl Birds with boxstock setup...and that's because I really didn't know how to setup a car that well, so it turned left and right and went forward with brakes... so I drove the S*it out of it to win....LOL.... and yes my VTA tire prep is better than yours... 2 tenths better

and its a racing class just like any other class.... it just happens to be more fun than the rest...perfect mix of fun and competition

Reread my post I had to fix it slightly .
O yea I absolutely agree in the slower classes where tire prep and driver almost outweigh setup you are the one to beat ... Where I have my setup game solid still need to work on my slow class tire prep . really enjoy the close racing when the motors are all on the same level .... Aka vta/can am

Can Am may work well maybe we should give it a chance. Its not a panacea, It will not make equal the different chassis , batteries , battery charging equipment, setup and driver daring . I think its a mistake to not include USVTA . I'm not committed to following that rule set ( as it is now ) anymore.

NYGP sold out in a week. That's pretty much unheard of for a new race. I think it's safe to say people are willing to give it a chance. The people involved are using their extensive combined experience to do things right. We're already much further along than anybody else has managed to get. The future looks bright for handout motors.

Not trying to be negative here. If Iíve been following correctly, that is the home track for Can-Am. And the format has been established there for some time now. So looking at it that way, turnout should be high. Itís more then Iíll ever see at one race. More then Iíll probably see over whole summer of racing. We should get better idea of acceptance when places that have not previously run a handout format.

going with that theory then it seems as tho 360 NYGP, Halloween Classic, and U.S. indoor champs don't count because they are always good. We'll just judge off the first race with bad attendance.. Maybe 360 is doing well because of spec not the other way around

360v2 is soldout and I am not going to be able to make it in time. Imagine if I was able to make it ? It would have soldout in one hour: too many people would attend just to see my brushed tc4 wiring job....lol.... It is actually the cleanest I was able to get it...lol...
I really hope they adopt some can am rules that make more newbies participate for the whole year and not feel taken for a wild ride buying new motors for every event: one motor per class per year....

for the vast majority that never have or will attend one of these big events, yeah. Itís really hard to judge.

I hear where your coming from, everyone I've seen post on here from 360 and 180 (stock wars) has had nothing but good things to say. The only negative comments I've seen are from people that haven't tried it which is really dumb and a whole different story. I spoke to Cravotta at Team Scream earlier today since he's providing the 12th scale power for can am.. These are not junk whatsoever! Everyone will be very happy with these motors and save a lot of money. What's not to like ?

Funny. I take a 4-5 year break log back in and read A post from Bert who still thinks the TC4 is the best car on the market. 😂😂

Iím not sure what you are talking about. The TC4 is awesome. I mean itís not like it has been replaced over the years by a better more current and more competitive design. 😂
