the avid v2 has been doing very well for me on carpet. i will be at the track this weekend to try out another set-up i will let you know how it goes.

avid v2lp is still in prototype stage so t will be a little bit before the release .

if you buy the v2 all the lp parts can bolt up to it so i wouldnt say you need to wait . but its really ur call . there is no news on a release date yet so i am unsure how long the wait will be my opinion is snag up a v2 and when the lp comes out get all the lp parts for it. just my 2cents

I 2nd that Jeff. The V2 is a great car already I love mine on carpet in my opinion I would also not wait grap a V2 and start winning. I am heading off today to another big race @ the Gate, part of the Midwest Grand Slam series in Cleveland OH. I will let everyone know how it goes, there is always some big competition there should be alot of fun. I will also get some pics for everyone.
