That's what I am running in my rear diff too, Ceramic balls by Hot Bodies, purchased from Skmotion.net using Assoc diff lube, then running the stock Avid thrust balls with AE black grease. My diff has lasted quite a long time, I am very pleased with the performance of it.

Iam running avid thrust bearing and find it quite good. But i have had a problem with the thrust rings (cup springs) the problem has been the tension or the lose of tension so to over come the problem i found an old Tamiya 415 ball diff out drive (which they fit perfectly into)and a hex bit out of my drill set and you place the cup spring into the inside of out drive and the hex bit follows and give it a few hits with a hammer to the desired tension (be careful not to use to much force)to much tension and they will not fit back in. so fare the tension has been excellent very smooth and just use cheap 3mm balls which are between 3-6 cents per ball.
I have packed the thrust bearing with Castrol high temp grease as well as on the diff balls and plates and all of my bearings(wheel and out drive)
hope this helps.
will be testing the out drives at the end of the month at the Queensland Titles. will keep you all updated.

i need to work on a set-up for carpet as well because sunday was the opening carpet race and i used the set-up canto54 gave me and my car was not very driveable with the tires used . i could not keep it from traction rolling and it just didnt feel right im sure the set-up would work at another track and different tires than sweep qts 32's that i was using.

Ok guys I have a pretty good setup for Carpet with rubber tires. I tried about 10 different setups and this had the best lap times. Was very easy to drive.
I can not fill in my setup sheet and save it so here it is sorry if not easy to follow hopefully Arno can help out.
