i agree with you except for the lipo older, i mean using the lipo older you are obligated to fix the lipo also with reinforced tape crossing the chassis on the bottom, and honestly i don't like such method, i would like somethings like top that is using a velcro strap, i home made something like that, and i posted also some pics, but if supplyed from mssrs robitronic it will be much better.

here is a pic of my shock showing where the hole is drilled for those who asked.
also i dont agree with the velcro thing im not a fan of velcro. i actually like using tape as a battery strap can produce chassis tweak and tape holds the pack down nicely and still lets the chassis flex. and the robitronic lipo holders are trick looking and i will be picking up mine shortlyat the moment i have been running ones i made quickly at work for the time being.

Awesome picture Jeff, that helps out alot. Does the hole let the bladder flex more under compression??? Is that why it is drilled there??? Looks like you have some trick lipo holders on your car!!!!

What are the advantages of the 0 angle driveshafts, has anybody run them yet????

This is what I was told the 0 angle driveshafts. Have a shorter bone and a longer axle . The stock axles when you turn the wheels left and right the bone moves forward and. Backwards and causes the bone to rub against the wheel axle . The new ones keep this from happening and should remove chatter while turning . Hence 0 angle as the name . I should. Have mine by Monday. But they will improve performance for sure.

Whats a good shock oil weight to start out with?? Also does the car only come with the 3 hole pistons?? Thanks for the help

its always good to start out with 40wt oil. also the car comes with 2 hole and 3 hole pistons in the kit. im not sure of the top of my head what diameter the piston holes are but i would stick in the 3 hole pistons and not worry about the 2 hole piston.

Car was great this weekend although I was not able to come away with a win I got 2nd in 17.5 stock with some good competition all weekend I was 0.2 off fastest lap in main. I am very happy with the way this car ran. Track was high grip, very hot temp 146* on track with 120ft back stretch.
Set up: All same as out of the box except for the following.
Front:
5.5mm ride hieght
3mm droop
550 cst sweep racing shock oil
hpi silver springs
hole drilled in shock cap
Ackerman center holes
6 screws on front top deck 2 of which not tightend that hold steering linkage
3.5mm droop
.5% toe out
1.5 camber
no sway bars
Rear:
5.5mm ride hieght
2.5mm droop
550cst sweep racing shock oil
hpi blue springs
hole drilled in shock caps
2 screws on back part of top deck
2 screws on top deck in front of spur gear
3% toe
2 camber
no sway bars

springs i would suggest buying 2 pairs of hpi silvers # 6543 and a pair of hpi blues # 6542 blues are softer so i would start with silver all the way around then if you need a little more rear grip try the blues.

for the steering i use .1 and .2mm shims sold by tamiya on the post and hot bodies sells smaller diameter shims in .1,.2,.3mm which are what i use for the steering rack and to reduce suspension slop in areas.
