So far, the only answer I hear about the release date is: "Soon !"
This is where RC business is weak compare to other big stuff. Things are always scheduled and you can expect things to arrive on the market according to release date they planed... It's way different for RC...
I don't know if October is a confirmed thing. Maybe Soon=October... who knows?!

But who is this Thomas Nagel guy? I saw he was mentioned with one of the designers of this car but I know nothing of him. Is he a legend over there in Euroland?

And one more thing, I do not know if you have the AVID spool for the car, but check out these pictures:
I will let you guess what happened. The Aluminum sleeves were used. As you can see in one of the pictures, the entire outdrive snapped and broke! Taking the sleeve with it. On the other side, you can see that the dogbone from the CVD spun inside the cup. The aluminum sleeve slid right off.
Know what may have caused this from your perspective? I am thinking defective plastic.

This is not an industry where you can make a million dollars over night. Its still a niche industry. If you can sell thousands of units in a month, then they would make sure the product is delivered on time. All r/c companies are the same, even the bigger ones. Like Slideaways says, PATIENCE!

these outdrive are mayby a bit to smal by production.
its normaly a press fitting so the sleeve should not come off.
the avid spool i have used is neerly unbreakeble.

Well then I do not know what happened with this outdrive. It may have been defective plastic for the outdrive cups.
The new cups should be in today. I will install them and the sleeves and see what happens. And by the way, this was after I was T-boned by another racer that day. But the cups should NOT have broke with the sleeves on, in my opinion. I am hoping Robitronic USA and Robitronic HQ will figure out what is wrong.

This break looks like you ran without the sleeves. And of course, it makes the spool quite weak and more exposed to damage in case of crash.
If you want a bulletproof spool, take a oneway set, make a deep degreasing of every parts and glue the outdrive inside the each oneway bearing after you first installed the 15x10 bearings.
This will "eat" more dogbone blades (with a bit heavier rotation parts, i agree) but you will never break it !

jaco double pinks front and rear (or double pink/orange in front if to much steering with double pinks on front)
camber 1.5 front and rear
diff in front
ride height of 5mm front 5.5mm rear (our track has a few bumps)
front droop 1.5mm over ride height
rear droop 1 mm over ride height
0mm roll center (blocks mounted directly to chassis no roll center spacers)
3 degree toe in rear, 0degree toe in front
hpi pro4 red front springs
hpi pro4 pink rear springs
70 oil in front shocks
45 oil in rear shocks
1 mm washer under front and rear inner camber link
camber link mounted inner hole front and rear on chassis
outer rear camber link mounted middle hole on hub w/ 1mm washer
this set up works well for me and our track is very high traction carpet,
