Hi all.
after some testing with the car (outdoor - asphalt), i have been able to find good setup just with the LTCR body shell.
With Mazda speed (that is the one i've used 99% of the time with my previous car )the car have too little front grip and this cause a big difference in front-rear tire temperature.

Did you noticed this too?

hy canto :-)

yes thats true cool

and we will see us at the ets in kastellaun ;-) thomas nagel will come with me to :-)

were really looking forward :-)!

I dont like the feeling of the car with the mazda speed to, but not only with the avid, also with the corally and all the other cars, it pushes into the corner in the mid its ok, but when you go on gas it oversteers really to much, very bad balance.

for indoor, the new blitz ifs which i helped to develope is for me the best :-), but outdoors were at testing.

at the moment i only use the ltc-r, lightweight, the normal one has a little less front end grip.

Genius Car!

I have a very good friendship with the Constructor from the Avid V2 and hes a friend of mine to.
So were really working together to make the car better and better.

Were working now for a Gear Diff and some new parts to make the car more Lipo friendly.

I was testing very much with the car outdoor and last week and tomorrow indoor to :-).
The car is really fast and react very sensitive on every setup change you make.
Now i also changed to the Tamiya Dampers, they give al little better feeling on carpet i think. (not mounted on the picture)

here are some picture of my avid v2 and a link to a little video from the 3. accu i drove outdoor with the new car at the rollout 4 weeks ago.

I will start to fully drive the electric scene at begining of the indoor season, before i drove 1/8 nitro onroad. but for me the electric scene is more and more comming and im really interested in it so thats why i fully change to it.

I will post my setup soon.

Video is in Youtube under: Rollout with Avid V2
Pictures are in Picasaweb

best regards shasa

so the changes i made this last weekend to my most recent set-up on petitrc is the following:

front:
5.5mm ride hieght
3mm droop
0 angle driveshafts
hpi pink springs
used 1.5mm rollcenter shim under the 2.0 arm block on front end to give 1.5 degrees of anti-dive

rear:
2mm droop
5.5mm ride hieght
hpi blue springs
40wt oil ae
shock position #4 on tower(4th hole from inside)

this setup also used the 2mm topdeck and only had a total of 8 screws in it 4 front ones and 2 in front of layshaft and 2 at the very back.

here are the pics of the top deck and Alloy out drives.
