I would say the must have items are the softer springs and lipo holders s well as the 2mm toP deck when its available. the kit is great out of the box.

personnaly, i use HPI spring most of the time, i don't know about the xray ones but they seems fine!

As for the shocks, I am using now the tamiya blacks ones (ref: 84008). I had troubles with the preload collars that don't fit well the shock bodies so I prefer to change to tamiya ones that works very good!

Since you have alot of Xray springs already you probably should just stick with thoose, at least for now. I used to own an Xray as well and their springs are fine. Right now alot of people seem to be using the HPI springs. I am using them as well.

The Robitronic Avid shocks are very nice units in my opinion. The spring collars do fit very tight and I opted to replace mine with a different style. I am still working on a solution for the stock collars.

The only problem with the shock collars is the o-ring I removed that and they are fine. I love this car very well built and very strong. I would also get the low friction belts they are great.

The stock spur appears to be a RW 90T 48 pitch gear which are great gears. I use 64 pitch gears so I switched to a 118T spur.

PRS spurs are also nice.

Ciao Potoczak,
i don't know any brakets to be used with lipo holder, i home made a battery strap with velcro, under the lipo holder i placed 1 mm shims enough for a small
strap, then my mother sewing ontop the velcro.
Here i post some photo, not a so nice view, but very efficent system
Ciao

Lipo holders have been released already and Speedtech has had them in stock, not sure if they still are or not. The 2.0mm topdeck should be here shortly. I have heard in another week or so.

Remember there are screws theat can be removed on the topdeck that will give the car a little more flex.
