Default Avid V2

I just ordered my Avid V2 from SK Motion and it should arrive on Saturday, then I will be starting the build. Once completed, I will then be available to provide help to anyone who might need it as I become familiar with this great car.

Just wanted to personally thank Ty for all of his help and this opportunity to run the car.

Steve

Make sure that you do not screw the lower ball end of the shock onto the shock shaft like you would do normally. Stop before it hits the stop or it will pop through the plastic into the ball part. It is lik ethe lower ball cups are the wrong size.

I just got my car yesterday and started on it when I got off work around 8:30 and the build went great all parts fit very nicely. I still have to put on the Lipo adapter but even with out it my 5000mah 50c Team Powers lipo fits easy. All that is left is balance out everything and I am ready to rock. Thank you Ty for all that you have done for me. I think this is going to be a great car I can't wait to drive it

HPISIMS, that is a bold claim to make that you made a 5000mah Battery fit on the chassis without the adaptar. Can you provide pics that makes this claim true? Because the 5000mah will be far off to the side since the battery will rub on the pulley if you put it in side, not to mention the top deck will be rubbing on it.

Pictures please! K, thx!

I spoke with SK motion yesterday and they informed me that the lipo holders that had shipped were missing parts. Apparently there was supposed to be four carbon pieces to allow for different batteries. They are going to send me mine when they arrive.

I kind of thought their was sappose to be four carbon pieces. What i did is just put it on the back and it works pretty good will be even better with the other pieces. It fits all my lipos just fine ip 3800 and thunder power 5000.
Still alot of money for so little if you ask me.

Here is some pics of the car together with a 5000mah 50C now even though it fits like this after I balance everything it will be hanging off the side alittle bit.

Hi all,
here is my last setup from french 3rd national round in mod: http://www.petitrc.com/reglages/robi...2010052223.pdf

Main difference is the use of shorten camber link on shock tower that make the car feel more comfortable and with lot of cornerspeed!
I just try that on this track right now, I will give you my feeling after more testing of this adjustement
